    Dear Mrs Kibby.
I was sorry to read that Ross had passed away.
I remember your husband very well as he together with his brothers Grant and Tony were the owners and directors of Paramount Tyres Ltd
I worked for F.R Bodle and was the general manager and later managing director of Bridgestone as well as a director and shareholder of General Tyre Service and so was both a supplier and a direct competitor .
Both companies held the Bandag franchise and so we meet together to discuss our mutual interests .
Ross and his brothers were always very good people to deal with and could always be absolutely relied on to do what they said they would do something that was not always the case in the tyre industry in those days
Had I been aware I would have certainly come to Cambridge to attend Rosses funeral and pay my respects.
Please accept my sympathy and my appreciation of having known Ross as a customer, competitor and friend.
