FISHER, Barbara Yvonne (nee Mexted) O.St.J, S.S.St.J, QSM, JP (Retired), RN. Formerly of Te Karaka and Gisborne. Passed away after a short illness in Cambridge on 31 March 2023, aged 92. Loved wife of the late Mick. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Dale and Peter, Dallas and Helen, and Rachel and Weed. Loved Barbie to her grandchildren Jeremy and Samantha Friar, and James, Madison and Kate Fisher.
A service will be held at the St Andrews Anglican Church, Hamilton Road, Cambridge on Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 2.00 pm. Following a private cremation, a memorial service for Barbara will be held in Gisborne at Evans Funeral Services, 171 Ormond Road, Gisborne on Monday 17 April 2023 at 11.00 am.
