FISHER, Barbara Yvonne (nee Mexted) O.St.J, S.S.St.J, QSM, JP (Retired), RN. Formerly of Te Karaka and Gisborne. Passed away after a short illness in Cambridge on 31 March 2023, aged 92. Loved wife of the late Mick.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Dale and Peter, Dallas and Helen, and Rachel and Weed. Loved Barbie to her grandchildren Jeremy and Samantha Friar, and James, Madison and Kate Fisher.

A service will be held at the St Andrews Anglican Church, Hamilton Road, Cambridge on Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 2.00 pm. Following a private cremation, a memorial service for Barbara will be held in Gisborne at Evans Funeral Services, 171 Ormond Road, Gisborne on Monday 17 April 2023 at 11.00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St John and may be left at the service. All communications to the Fisher Family, c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434.

    Condolences from the Fishers/Maxwells across the Pacific. Loved reading her thoughtful letters and our children truly enjoyed the yearly calendar of the majestic New Zealand vistas. Sure she will be dearly missed!
