GEANGE, Barry Wyndham Knox, 89 yrs. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, 31 July 2023. Deeply loved husband of Ellen for 64 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Carol & Graham Thomas, Margaret & Michael Garrett, Warren & Sandra, Ross & Erin, Kevin & Kerrie and adored grandad to 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Barry’s life will be held at 11am Monday 7th August 2023 at The Narrows Landing, 431 Airport Rd, Hamilton followed by a private burial. To Ellen and family… Sandra, George, Anne and my daughters Phebe, Belinda, Natale and Luke , Karla and son in laws wish you all moments of peace and comfort in honouring Barry today the 7th August 2023 with our presence. We have just returned home from the service to thank you for such a beautiful day in re memberence of such a generous and loving uncle. Barry has truly enriched our lives for many years and cannot thank our mum enough for having a fabulous relationship with
Barry her cousin and retaining this over the last 95 years.
August is a very special month for me with birthdays of 3 daughters.,one grand daughter and of course our birthdays, 30th August and of course remembering our dad/grand dad who passed away on the 6th August 2000. We will always remember Barry at this time as we have always done
When some one you love becomes a memory …the memory becomes a treasure…
Barry was truly a treasured uncle to us all.
Sadly Belinda could not be here but has sent a note to The Geange family and George could also not be here but their hearts and love are with you today.
We would like to honour Barry today with these last words…..
