Dear Jo,
I didn’t know you well, but my observations of you and Dylan in the rowing community was that he was a very special boy, loved by all and backed whole-heartedly by a determined and hard-working Mum. I always admired how you prioritised and supported him without any fuss; you just got in there and did what you needed to do to enable his success and well-being. Only a handful of Mums in rowing are doing it all alone to the degree you are. You are incredible.
And I am so sorry for your loss.
I never knew your son or your family however I saw the post from H/boys school & am praying for Gods comfort over your hearts at this difficult time. May your head and heart reconcile this huge loss with Gods loving arms wrapping you all in His love…
