My Name is Chris Bowden from Taupo Bay, Far North. Sorry not to be able to join with you all to farewell Glenn.
I have been in the motor trade as has Glenn. Back in the 1970’s and 80’s, each Friday evening, another friend John Henderson (a cabinetmaker) used to join with Glenn and myself to play pool and sort out (verbally) all the world’s problems, in my garage at 92 Williams Street, Cambridge. I shifted up to Taupo Bay in 1992 and contact with Glenn and John has been spasmodic since then. Nearly one year ago I was in Hamilton visiting my 2 daughters and on my birthday 16th April I drove to Tirau, collected Glenn and then drove to Matamata, collected John and the 3 of us (“The 3 Stooges”) went to a Cafe for morning tea. Thankfully I DID NOT wait another year for this get together. REST IN PEACE MY GOOD FRIEND GLENN.

My name is Robert Brader from Masterton and I am sorry I cant join with all of you today to send my good friend Glenn on his journey.
My friendship with Glenn covers 40years with our connection being C A R S. The many lengthy phone calls we shared over recent years and the occasional visits when he stayed with us in Masterton were always welcome. We both enjoyed going together to the Rotorua Swap meetings and the times I spent at his workshop panel beating cars for him.
Thanks for your friendship Glenn – Rest in Peace.
