Having read these messages, I wish I had known her better. I only remember her beautiful singing in the St. Peter’s Anglican choir. My sincere condolences Richard and family from Ethel

My fondest memories of my Aunty Heather are when she and and Rachael visited our family in Brisbane, Australia when I was about 11 years old and Rachael was about 2 years old. This was the first time I met them. I loved my aunt and cousin from the start. Heather was friendly, warm, had a sparkle in her eyes and smiled a lot. Rachael was her joy I could tell – a beautiful, happy toddler who was lots of fun to play with and entertain. We had a good time going to see the koalas and kangaroos at Lone Pine Sanctuary. I visited and stayed with Heather, Richard and Rachael in Auckland at various times. That sparkle or twinkle in Heather’s eyes was always present. Much love to Uncle Richard and Rachael. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

Heather was the dearest friend. She always seemed to be smiling and was so proud of her achievements. It was always great to meet and have a good catchup. Such a privilege to be able to see the live streaming today. A wonderful tribute to Heather. Lots of love Jill and David Carter

Heather was the best mother in law one could wish for!
Kind and giving with a great personality. Including from the moment we met, very family oriented.
Funny with a great sense of humor and always up for something fun.
I will miss you and the smirk in your eyes.
My deepest condolences to the family.

Heather’s was the sweetest friend and next door neighbour during our time in Doha. She was always ready with help and advice. Rachael was a little playmate to our son. Our heartfelt sympathy to Richard and Rachael for their tremendous loss. Gail & Peter Hyatt

Heather was a fabulous nurse, colleague and friend, and I will miss her. I was able to visit her many times once she moved to Cambridge and our chats were enlightening but mostly we reminisced about our time at Middlemore and Ascot. Heather was the most calmest of clinicians, the best person to have in a crisis, and she did the best fibreglass plasters ever. Her knowledge and skills will be missed, and I will always remember her for giving me many opportunities to grow as a nurse. Thankyou Heather for all you have done, I am grateful for it all.
