I hold fond memories seeing AJ when back in NZ, always enjoyed good banter. You shared family stories and kindness. I wish I could be there on Saturday to say farewell with family and celebrate you, but living in Perth makes that difficult. Always in our hearts Jacqueline (nee Middleton), Roy, Ashley and Isabella, love to all oooxxx

A dearly loved cousin of Helen Fallow (nee Scott) Canberra.
I have many happy memories spent with June in my childhood and later in life over lunch or that coffee that we both enjoyed so much.
    Those memories will never fade.

Hi I am John Scott, a second cousin to June. I always have happy memories of June. When my parents would call on Uncle Arthur and Auntie Ada when they lived on the corner of Banks Street and Queen Street, June and Carole would make a big fuss of my sister Helen and I by pushing us around on a tricycle and was there also a pedal car or a trolley? I can’t remember now. Anyway they would push us around on the footpath outside their place and if Helen and I happen to be in Pollen St and be passing Uncle Arthur’s Shop. June was always very welcoming and pleased to see us and years later when my wife Margaret and I called in to June in her Richmond Street house we were always made to feel very welcome, always pleased to see us. We will miss you June

    AJ,
It’s so hard to say goodbye to a wonderful piece of my second family. I will miss you, your laugh, your generosity, and how your face would light up when Fi and I would give you a little ‘fashion show’ after our shopping trips.
How special it has been to also call you AJ. I know you you were well cared for and well loved.

    Rest in peace, friend.

    Kayla

June – honest, caring, with a heart of gold. Loyal to a fault, she gave herself unselfishly to helping others.
She always appreciated the help, care and time that Lesley, Hamish and Fiona gave her.
Very happy memories of a truly honest and caring lady.
It was a priviledge knowing you June!

I have known June for the past 30 odd years. A wonderful caring lady with strong family ties. She loved her knitting. She made several beautiful intricate baby shawls in 2 and 3 ply wool. Not a stitch out of place. Her knitting didn’t stop there. She knitted for Lesley and her family as well as her many other family members.June has a lovely sense of humour and loved the gentle teasing of Hamish and Fiona- their AJ, even when she got annoyed that she had been tricked. Lots of joint laughter always followed the teasing. June always appreciated the care and love provided by Little Sis, not only over many years while she lived in Thames, but also on her extended holidays in Cambridge, then latterly when she was in care at Bupa. Rest in peace June, zI will miss our lovely chats over the years.
