Died peacefully, at Bupa St Kilda Care Home, Cambridge on Saturday, 30th August 2025, aged 87.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kathryn, Steve and Debbie, Fiona and Dave, and Michael. Loved grandmother of Thomas and Sydney, Jamie and Anna, Georgina and Matt, Madison, Taylor and Connor, and Samantha. Great-grandmother of Otis and Phoebe.

A service to celebrate Marcia’s life for close friends and family will be held at the Cambridge Town Hall, Victoria Street, Cambridge on Thursday, 4th September at 11.00 am, followed by private cremation. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by visiting Marcia’s tribute page as mentioned above.

Marcia, my heart 💔 broke a little more today with the knowledge of your passing. You were more than an aunt (though I could never call you that) you were my mentor and friend. I will always remember our days and evenings together…the stories and the insights you provided into other perspectives. I will miss you Marcia and will remember that saying that people will judge what they see on the outside but will never know the struggle behind to be where you got to today.
