MARSH, Maurice Leslie, Passed away after a long battle with illness, on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 Aged 70 Years. Youngest son to the late Alex and Ailsa. Loved step son to the late Maureen. Much loved Brother and Brother in law to Ken & Polly (Deceased), Ron & Bev (Deceased), Ray & Gerraldine, Doug & Carol ( Deceased), David & Sandra and Lynnette. Cherished Uncle to Kelly, Trudi and Kane. Loved Great Uncle to Dominique, Tineka and Chance. Devoted Father figure to Bradley. Great Great Uncle to Atelia, Blake, Caden, Roman and Leo. Highly respected for his work with in the waipa community. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice Waikato, Hillcrest, for the care and support during this time . Following Maurice’s wishes a private cremation has been held.     We are sad to hear of Maurice’s passing. I enjoyed our time together in M5 especially the laughs we had. I hope Maurice enjoyed the Portuguese Chicken that I missed out on (twice!)!

      Thankyou Neil and Gaynor, Neil, you and Maurice would have been terrors together had you both been given the opportunity. It was so much easier for our family leaving Maurice each visit Knowing he had you for a buddy. Thankyou for your kindness and humor.

    Words can’t express how much you are missed already, home is not right with out you.
    You are a true warrior.
    I adore you with every ounce of my being.
    I’m happy your at peace now
    But I still don’t want to let you go.
