Dear Kerry, Derek, Julie and Roger,
You have each been in my thoughts as you grieve and reminisce for your Mum. Shirley and I have such fond memories of our time in Mackenzie Street, partly because of people like you all. Your parents were so kind hearted and welcoming. Your Mum had an unobtrusive grace, intelligence, and warmth about her. I remember when she smiled, her eyes sparkled. She very generously allowed me to interview her for a uni assignment I was doing in the early 1980s. I think she and I both appreciated the time and the process. You will each have uniquely special memories, as she touched each of your lives for so many decades. Sending you our heartfelt sympathy and love. Shirley Lizza & Eleanor Boyce (the Healy girls)
