STANAWAY, Peter Allen Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a short illness on Wednesday, 24th June 2026, aged 80 years. Peter faced his illness with great courage. Beloved husband of Nevis, and dearly loved by Tracey, Kylie, Trudi, Paul, Arron, Rene, Emily, Bridget, Reuben, Maya, Clare, Connor, and Peyton. Will be sadly missed by Mal, Evelyn, and Bobbie.
Nevis and the family sincerely thank Hospice Waikato for their kindness, care, and support, and Cliff from Comins Pharmacy for his assistance and compassion.
A memorial service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Woodside Estate, Woodside Road, Matangi, on Thursday, 2nd July 2026 at 1.00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to the Stanaway Family may be sent c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434, or left here in Peter’s online tribute book at www.grinters.co.nz.
