    Dear Phil’s family
We are so sorry to hear of Phil’s passing. Unfortunately we have only just found out and missed his funeral. We will miss seeing Phil with his big smile and peddling around on his bike stopping for a chat now and then.
He was very generous person, often giving his pears away. You will be missed. Rest in Peace Phil, till we meet again 🙏

Phil. I will miss you dearly. You are and were an amazing guy. Rest in the fact that you have left a lot of people happier that they have had the privilege of knowing you

    Dear Phil,
Your kindness over the years will always be remembered.
You came for a pot luck and had made a Beef Wellington….. it was amazing. That was the first time I had realised what a great cook you were.
I remember many years ago helping you prune an orchard….. really not sure how much help I was but there were some good laughs and the jug of beer at the end of the day tasted sooo good.
The love for your children was always evident. You spoke of them with such pride.
You will always be remembered and missed Phil.
I wish I had told you this.
    Rest well my friend 🧡

    To Phil’s family,

We were sad to hear of Phil’s passing. Phil would occasionally pop around for a coffee and chat about what was going on in his life. Sometimes these chats would go on for hours, and we’d end up sitting outside in the spa pool under the starts philosophising about life and solving the problems of the world. After his big work accident, he found soaking in the spa helped to ease the pain of his injuries.
Phil had helped us out on a few occasions, around our property, utilising his skill with a chainsaw and mulcher, clearing up branches, logs, and trees. We’d always pop in to see him at the farmers market to say “Hi”, and give him a hug. Occasionally, he’d turn up with a trailer load of mulch for us from a job. “Here you go, thought you guys might do with some of this”, he’d say, and then politely turn down our offer to help with some Cash.

Phil, was always friendly, motivated, and a hard worker.

We are thinking of you all, with dealing with his loss. We’re with you and feeling his loss too. Take care.

I have a cool photo of him with his dog that i’d love to share with you. I was on one of these visits about a year ago, in August 2024.

I’m saddened by this news. I can still picture his smile at my father’s funeral. I know my friends helped Phil out over the past year. He was treasured. Say hi to dad for me. Kerryn
