    Real shock.
Saw Rod almost every week at the club when I was there for snooker.
My involvement with Rod goes back about 15 or possibly more years when his Rosswood business was the preferred business to provide all things necessary for the rowing course and infrastructure at Lake Karapiro for Karapiro Rowing Inc. and Rowing New Zealand.
My deepest sympathies to the family he leaves behind. Rod was a good man.

My most Sincere Condolences to you Irene & Family. It was only a fortnight ago that we saw Rod up at the Cossie Club. I hold very good memories of when you both had the bach at Oamaru Bay and I hope you do also. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Sending our Love to you all.

Really sorry to hear this news today. It was a privilege to know Rod for the past 50 odd years and all the things we did together. All the best wishes to the family. Regards. Craig and Rhonda Houston.
