I met Trevor at Wesley College in Pirata just south of Auckland where I spent my last two years of secondary school. Trevor was a wonderful friend and during the shorter holiday breaks from school I used to spend that time on their family farm in Putaruru I lived in Tauranga for just over 6 years growing kiwifruit and visited Trevor and his family regularly before moving over to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.
I was so pleased to have visited Trevor 18 months ago when l happened to be back in New Zealand staying in Cambridge for a few days. What a great catch up that was. Rest in Peace my friend and my condolences to your family. Terry Weller.

To Trevor’s family. Trevor was one of my best mates in our late teens and twenties. In 1964 our family moved to Waotu – Wiltsdown Rd. I was with Trevor in Putaruru Young Farmers and Young Nationals. I left Waotu in late 1970’s but every now and then would catch up with Trevor and Charley. Also in recent times.
Also remember Dobbie his Dad and his mum and sister Irene. So many wonderful memories.

I now live in Napier so my apologies for not being at Trevor’s funeral. He was such a lovely man.
