Gareth, Jonathan Bjorn and Chantelle. I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Prudence, it is hard to loose a parent no matter how old we are. I have such very happy memories of growing up with Prudence and Daryl with lots of happy hours Spent at either Alexander Street Hastings or at Clive. Us kids outside Mum and Gwen in the kitchen with a pot of tea. If they were lucky Uncle Johnny and Dad would have a beer. As a teenager I would travel to Wellington by train to Lyall Bay to stay with you all. So many laughs, Gareth you were very little at that stage but I loved my time with you all. Love Erin

Thanks for everything Mum, miss you and love you but know you are at peace and got to “come out to play” for a time in your life. You were always there and gave us kids a great start in life. May you rest in peace with Darrell, Gwen and Johnny, till we meet again soon…..Hope you and Gwen play nice and keep an eye on my dog, she got there just before you!

    Kia whakapapa pounamu te moana
    Kia tere te karohirohi
    I mua i tou huarahi
    Haere e Kokara haere

    (Let Peace be widespread
Let the sea glisten like the greenstone
    May your path be straight
Like the flight of the dove
Go in Peace and with my blessings Mother)

    Love, Gareth
